Taekwondo Programs

At 9th Island Taekwondo, we combine traditional Taekwondo values with modern coaching methods to help students develop confidence, discipline, respect, and strong character alongside real martial arts skills. Our goal is to create a positive, structured environment where kids, teens, and adults can grow both on and off the mat.

Whether a student is training for fitness, self-defense, personal growth, competition, or black belt advancement, our programs are designed to help each individual succeed at their own pace. Through consistent instruction, goal-setting, and encouragement, we help students build the skills and mindset needed for success in Taekwondo and everyday life.

Students benefit from real-world experience and high-level technical instruction rarely found in a traditional martial arts school.

Modern Approach to Traditional Taekwondo

While we emphasize respect, discipline, perseverance, and personal growth, we also incorporate modern training methods, athletic development, and sport science principles to help students learn effectively and safely.

Students develop real skills, improved coordination, and lasting confidence.

Structured Belt Progression System

Our Taekwondo programs provide clear goals and milestones for students as they advance through the belt ranks.

Students develop technical skills, physical fitness, character, and leadership qualities throughout their martial arts journey.

Competition Opportunities

Students who wish to challenge themselves can participate in local, regional, national, and international tournaments.

Whether a student's goal is simply gaining experience or competing at a high level, opportunities are available for all levels of interest.

Positive and Supportive Community

We work to create a welcoming environment where students feel challenged, encouraged, and supported.

Our goal is to help every student grow in skill, confidence, and character both as a martial artist and as a person.
